Version: V1.10.0 — U.S. & International Edition Effective Date: October 3, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Truvemo (“Truvemo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects personal information when you visit Truvemo.com, create or use a Truvemo account, use the Truvemo web application or Progressive Web App (“PWA”), communicate with us, or interact with Truvemo as a designated recipient.

Truvemo is operated by Wanlin Online Network Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. (万林在线网络技术(深圳)有限公司), a company incorporated in the People’s Republic of China.

Truvemo is designed around a simple principle: deeply personal information should remain private unless and until the conditions for its intended use have been satisfied.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

When you create or manage a Truvemo account, we may collect information such as your name, email address, authentication information, account settings, subscription status, and related account information.

Passwords are not intended to be stored in plain text.

1.2 Entrusted Content

Truvemo currently allows users to create and store private messages, letters, written instructions, and other text-based information (“Entrusted Content”).

The launch version is focused on text-based Entrusted Content. We may add support for documents, photos or images, audio or voice notes, and video in later updates.

Entrusted Content may contain personal, confidential, or sensitive information chosen by the user.

We process Entrusted Content only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, maintain, and carry out the Truvemo service.

1.3 Recipient Information

An Owner may provide a designated Recipient’s name and Email address for the Entrustment and later delivery process.

If you are a designated recipient but do not have a Truvemo account, we may have received your information from a Truvemo user who selected you as a recipient.

We hold Recipient contact information for the Owner’s Entrustment and protected delivery process. Designation alone does not cause a pre-release Recipient invitation, Email verification, or notification. The Recipient normally receives an availability communication only after release has been authorized.

If the same person separately accepts the Primary Status Confirmer role, we may contact them before release solely about that role, without revealing that they are also a Recipient.

1.4 Check-In and Confirmation Information

We may record Owner Check-ins, missed Check-ins, Status Review requests, Status Confirmer declarations, changes to an Entrustment, release decisions, Recipient access, and disclosures.

These records help Truvemo operate conservatively and maintain a traceable record of important actions.

1.5 Technical and Security Information

When you use Truvemo, we may automatically receive technical information such as:

  • IP address;
  • browser and device type;
  • operating system;
  • approximate geographic region;
  • access timestamps;
  • security events; and
  • technical or application logs.

We primarily use this information for security, fraud prevention, troubleshooting, service reliability, and limited analytics.

1.6 Payment Information

Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers or a Merchant of Record such as Paddle.

Where payment information is collected directly by the payment provider, Truvemo does not need to receive or store your complete credit or debit card number.

We may receive transaction-related information such as subscription status, transaction identifiers, payment status, amount paid, currency, renewal status, and refund status.

2. How We Use Personal Information

We may use personal information to:

  • provide and maintain Truvemo;
  • create and authenticate accounts;
  • protect Entrusted Content;
  • operate check-in and confirmation processes;
  • communicate with users and designated recipients;
  • conduct appropriate verification and security processes;
  • manage subscriptions;
  • provide customer support;
  • prevent fraud, misuse, and security incidents;
  • comply with legal obligations; and
  • improve the reliability and usability of the Service.

Truvemo is not operated as an advertising business.

We do not sell Entrusted Content or personal information for advertising purposes.

3. Legal Bases for Processing

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, the basis depends on the activity and the law that applies. Processing necessary to provide an Owner’s account and carry out the Owner’s instructions may be based on the contract with that Owner. This does not make a designated Recipient a party to that contract.

Where the applicable law permits reliance on legitimate interests, the relevant interests include holding limited contact details supplied by an Owner to carry out a private Entrustment, communicating at the appropriate stage, and protecting the Service against fraud and unauthorized disclosure. That basis is subject to the individual’s rights and the limits of that law; it is not a universal substitute for consent. Fraud prevention is a purpose, not an independent legal basis.

We also process information to comply with applicable legal obligations and rely on consent where required. An Owner’s designation alone is not the Recipient’s consent. Neither this Policy nor an Owner’s agreement removes any applicable obligation to give the other person notice or obtain their consent.

4. Information Another Person Provides About You

An Owner may supply your name and Email address and privately designate you as a Recipient without first contacting you. The source is that Owner; you need not have an account. This designation is not your acceptance of a role. Solely being a Recipient does not cause pre-release contact; normally we contact you after release authorization with an availability notice and secure access steps.

If you separately serve as Primary Status Confirmer, we invite you to accept and verify that role before release and may ask you to report the Owner’s known situation. That invitation does not disclose your separate Recipient role or entrusted content. We receive the contact details for that invitation from the Owner, and your acceptance, verification information, security credential verifier, and later declarations from your interactions with Truvemo. We process them as part of the safety and delivery mechanism. Status information provided by a Status Confirmer may describe known circumstances, including reported unavailability or inability to manage affairs. We use it as an input to the safety and release process, not to diagnose the Owner or make a medical, legal, or official finding. We do not sell this status information or use it for advertising or commercial health profiles.

You are not required to become a paying Truvemo customer merely because another person designated you as a Recipient. We retain your contact details for the relevant Entrustment and authorized delivery purposes under Section 8. You may contact privacy@truvemo.com about information supplied about you, including a request for access, correction, deletion, or an objection where applicable. You do not need to create an account to make a request. Identity checks and protections for other people’s private information still apply; a privacy request does not by itself authorize disclosure of an Entrustment.

We seek to disclose only information reasonably necessary for the relevant stage of the process.

Entrusted Content should not be disclosed prematurely. The Owner-defined Retrieval Password is represented by a securely stored verifier rather than plaintext. The required Password Hint is encrypted and shown only in the currently authorized secure retrieval flow after Email one-time-code verification; it is not included in the ordinary availability Email.

5. Sharing of Information

We may share limited personal information with service providers that help us operate Truvemo, including providers of:

  • hosting and infrastructure;
  • email delivery;
  • security and fraud prevention;
  • analytics;
  • customer support; and
  • payment processing.

These providers may process information only as reasonably necessary to provide their respective services and subject to applicable contractual and legal obligations.

We may also disclose information where reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law or valid legal process, protect Truvemo and its users, investigate fraud or abuse, address security threats, or complete a lawful corporate restructuring or transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.

6. Paddle and Payment Processing

Where Paddle processes a Truvemo purchase, Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record for the applicable transaction and separately processes payment and transaction information according to Paddle’s own terms and privacy practices.

Truvemo generally receives only information necessary to activate and manage your subscription and provide the Service.

7. International Data Processing

Truvemo and its service providers may process personal information in countries other than the country in which you reside.

Where required by applicable law, appropriate contractual, organizational, technical, or other safeguards will be used for international transfers of personal information.

8. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, maintain security and fraud-prevention records, resolve disputes, and satisfy applicable legal obligations. Operational and audit records of review requests, release decisions, access, and disclosures may be retained for these purposes.

Entrusted Content associated with an active account may remain stored while the relevant account or entrustment remains active.

You may request account deletion through privacy@truvemo.com. Account-wide deletion is not currently available as a self-service function. We review and respond to deletion requests under applicable law and the available account controls. Deleting an individual Entrustment removes its active encrypted content and ends its pending delivery authority; limited records of the action may remain. A request to delete an account does not itself immediately erase every account or related record. Security, transaction, release, disclosure, fraud-prevention, audit, dispute, and backup records may be retained where permitted or required by applicable law.

We do not currently promise that all information will be irreversibly removed from every backup system within a fixed number of days. Applicable legal deletion deadlines still apply. Keeping a record of a past disclosure does not undo that disclosure and does not, by itself, justify retaining identifying information indefinitely.

9. Refund-Related Data Handling

If a full subscription refund is issued, paid access may end. A refund does not trigger guaranteed automatic deletion of Entrusted Content within a fixed period. You may use available Entrustment controls while accessible or contact privacy@truvemo.com to request deletion. We handle requests under applicable law; limited account, transaction, security, release, disclosure, dispute, and backup records may remain where permitted or required.

10. Security

Because Truvemo is designed to hold highly private information, security is a core part of the Service.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, loss, or misuse.

However, no online system can guarantee absolute security.

Users are responsible for protecting their credentials and should promptly notify us if they suspect unauthorized access to their account.

Security concerns may be reported to:

security@truvemo.com

11. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, applicable law may give you rights concerning your personal information, including rights to request:

  • access;
  • correction;
  • deletion;
  • restriction;
  • objection;
  • portability; or
  • withdrawal of consent.

You may also have the right to complain to an applicable data protection authority.

Privacy requests may be sent to:

privacy@truvemo.com

We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests. Where applicable law provides them, rights may also include opting out of sale, targeted advertising, or certain profiling, obtaining information about disclosures, using an authorized agent, and appealing a refusal. Send a request or appeal to privacy@truvemo.com and identify the decision you wish to appeal. We will explain any refusal and the review or complaint options required by applicable law. Rights and exceptions depend on the law applicable to the processing; this section does not assert that every state privacy statute applies to Truvemo.

12. Account and Content Deletion

Users may request deletion of their account and may delete or withdraw Entrusted Content before it has been released, subject to applicable Service functionality, security requirements, and legal obligations.

Deletion may not immediately remove copies held temporarily in security backups or records that Truvemo is legally or reasonably required to retain.

13. Children

Truvemo accounts are intended only for persons who are at least 18 years old.

An adult Truvemo user may prepare Entrusted Content intended for a child or other minor recipient.

Where information concerning a minor is provided, the user is responsible for having lawful authority to provide that information.

14. Cookies and Analytics

We may use cookies, local storage, security technologies, and limited analytics technologies to operate, secure, and understand the Service.

We do not use Entrusted Content for behavioral advertising.

Where applicable law requires consent for a particular technology, we will seek consent as required.

15. Communications

We may send operational communications including:

  • email verification messages;
  • security notices;
  • check-in reminders;
  • confirmation messages;
  • post-authorization Recipient availability and secure-access messages;
  • subscription and renewal notices; and
  • important Service notices.

Necessary account, authentication, security, and delivery communications may not always be optional while the relevant Service relationship remains active. A Status Confirmer invitation can be declined. Being designated as a Recipient does not subscribe you to marketing.

Marketing communications, if introduced, will be treated separately and will provide legally required opt-out mechanisms.

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service develops or legal requirements change.

We will post an updated Policy and its effective date here. For material changes affecting existing users, we will give notice through the Service or an operational Email before the change applies, except where law or an urgent security need requires otherwise. We will obtain consent where required before applying a materially different use or disclosure to information already collected.
